Questions & Answers

For fairness and transparency, all questions and answers regarding the RFP will be posted online for all potential proponents to view.
q 1. Can proponents access EntrepreNorth’s proprietary Multi-Directional Business Compass prior to submitting a proposal?
The Multi-Directional Business Compass will not be shared during the proposal process, however, the successful proponent will be fully orientated on it as part of the onboarding process. A non-disclosure agreement will be required as part of the final contract.
Q 2. Does EntrepreNorth have flexibility with the project Final Deliverables/end date of September 30th, 2022?
Proposed project schedules, timeline of deliverables, and suggested mitigation plans will be assessed on a case-by-base basis as part of the overall review process.
Q3. Are there any existing EntrepreNorth materials that can be shared and adapted for use in this curriculum?
Yes, there are some existing materials that can be shared and adapted for use in this curriculum. However, part of the scope of work is to consult with EntrepreNorth to determine where there are gaps and to determine what new content needs to be developed as part of this contract. Once the contract is awarded all relevant materials will be shared with the proponent.
Q4. The RFP refers to instructional presentations for use online and in-person – could you provide more information about how you envision the course being delivered? Is the online delivery instructor-led (e.g., by video conference), or self-directed (e.g., an online course with no instructor)?
The curriculum content, materials, and presentations are intended to be adaptable to both in-person and virtual program delivery methods. The primary focus of this project is to develop content that is instructor-led, however, the end goal is to adapt this content into self-directed online learning modules/courses.
Q5. Are you open to proposals that may propose an alternate scope of deliverables to what is outlined in the RFP?
Our preference is for submitted proposals to indicate how the specified project deliverables will be met.
Q6. How will the Northern and Indigenous experience be scored? Are factors such as northern or Indigenous ownership included in this score, or is it based solely on experience working for and with Northern and Indigenous clients and communities?
Northern and Indigenous ownership is an asset and not a requirement. We are hoping to see partnerships with Northern and Indigenous business owners and/or the inclusion of Northern and Indigenous subject matter experts on the project team.
Q7. Can you clarify the deadline?
