Upcoming Workshop

Online Community Ideation Workshop | November 24-26, 2020 | Hosted in partnership with WAYC

EntrepreNorth is offering a FREE ONLINE Community Ideation Workshop in partnership with the Western Arctic Youth Collective (WAYC). This workshop is for youth between 18 to 35 years of age residing within the Beaufort Mackenzie Delta region: Inuvik, Aklavik, Fort McPherson, Tsiigehtchic, Tuktoyaktuk, Ulukhaktok, Paulatuk, and Sachs Harbour.

Our EntrepreNorth team will guide participants through an exciting business design process using our very own Multi-Directional Business Compass. The Compass offers an Indigenous-centered perspective for thinking about business, community, and economic impact in a more circular and holistic way.  Following the workshop, participants will gain access to online business education content and exercises covered in the workshop. The workshop will wrap up with a fun pitch event and prizes to celebrate and honour everyone's work.

Facilitators: Benjamin Scott, Project Director; Misty Ireland, Associate Director; and Xina Cowan, Community Manager
