Salary:
Term: Full-time, 3 to 5-year term
Location: Yellowknife, NT (other Northern locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
Salary:
- Base salary (ranging from $45,000 - $60,000 based on education and work experience)
- Northern Top-Up ($20,000 if you reside in the Northwest Territories, the Yukon or Nunavut)
- Full Benefits & Annual RRSP Contributions

The role
The Program Coordinator takes a supporting role in coordinating the implementation of EntrepreNorth’s programming, activities, and ecosystem events across the North and online. This means working in close collaboration with the Program Manager, contractors, program participants and external partners to ensure that all aspects of events and programming run smoothly.
As the Program Coordinator, you help to ensure that entrepreneurs and social innovators have an enriching, cultural, and empowering experience when they engage with EntrepreNorth’s programming and events. This means taking pride in the art of relationship building, coordination, and event logistics.

Key outcomes for this Role
- A growing movement of Indigenous entrepreneurs who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to start and grow a business and develop a sustainable livelihood
- Program participants experience a variety of high-calibre events and learning activities that support them in their personal and business development
- Projects have comprehensive implementation plans that are grounded in community and uphold the cultural integrity of the program participants and partners that we serve across the North
- Projects are coordinated through close consultation and strong relationships with EntrepreNorth staff, contractors, and community partners
- Program participants benefit from an accessible network of connections with business service providers, subject matter experts, Northern funding agencies, and other partnerships that are mission-aligned
- EntrepreNorth’s operations are supported by behind-the-scenes logistical planning and administrative processing that ensure all events and programming run smoothly
Strengths and experience
- A strong planner who is able to support project coordination with many moving parts
- Has a good understanding and experience of working in Indigenous communities, and/or culturally sensitive environments
- A highly self-motivated and adaptable individual, who is able to take initiative and problem-solve to see projects through to completion
- An excellent communicator who builds and maintains strong and lasting relationships with people and communities
- Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities with the support of project management software and technology
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Appreciates and is open to travel opportunities across the North
