Investing in Indigenous futures, defined by Indigenous voices

The Sinew Impact Fund is a new kind of investment vehicle.
It was built to move capital in a way that reflects Indigenous values, community realities, and the pace of long-term change.

This is not about charity. And it’s not business as usual.
This fund is designed to centre Indigenous self-determination and wealth-building.

Momentum

Why Now

Indigenous entrepreneurs are starting businesses at five times the national average — but less than 0.1% of venture capital goes to Indigenous founders.

At the same time, capital holders across Canada are looking for meaningful, values-aligned ways to invest in community well-being and long-term transformation.

The Sinew Impact Fund was created to bridge that gap.
We support entrepreneurs on the ground, and we offer investors a vehicle that centers Indigenous priorities — in both where the money goes and how it comes back.

Rebuilding the system — with our own tools

The Sinew Impact Fund is governed, designed, and managed by a team with deep experience in Indigenous finance, community development, and movement building.

It’s also intentionally structured to welcome Indigenous investors to the cap table — shifting power back into Indigenous hands.

We believe capital can be a tool for rematriation, restoration, and sovereignty — if it’s built with care.
